Application: Rubber adhesive YC-964A are wide application as a methylene donor in the “HRH” dry rubber adhesion system for bonding rubber to cord, and/or wire reinforcement materials. The product can also be used in conjunction with methylene acceptor(RF resin ＆ Novolak resins) in rubber compound to increase modulus, tensile, stiffness and hardness.
Rubber adhesive YC-964A is added to rubber compounds with insoluble sulfur/vulcanization accelerator.
Recommended levels for initial evaluations:
Rubber adhesive YC-964A: 3～8 phr; Resorcinol 1～2 phr or Resorcinol formaldehyde resin 2～4 phr.
Rubber adhesive RA-65: 3～8 phr; Resorcinol 1～2 phr or Resorcinol formaldehyde resin 2～4 phr.
Packaging: 25kg plastic woven bag or kraft paper bag.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. The recommended maximum storage life is 12 months when stored under normal conditions.

Rubber adhesive YC-964A doesn’t release ammonia, it has no corrosion effects on brass coated steel. It has longer scorch protection than provided by hexamethylenetetramine and it has outstanding humid aging properties.
Rubber adhesive YC-964A has better thermal stability than Rubber adhesive RA-65, it is more disperses readily.
Rubber adhesive YC-964A has low dust level, it has no skin irritation, it is not agglomerate in low temperature.
